This replacement water filter works for the Countertop as well as the Under Counter water filters. Multi-media filter cartridge. Fits fit housings designed for standard 9 3/4" length by 2 1/2" to 2 3/4" width cartridges. Cartridge has an integrated 1 micron absolute pre-filter that can capture cysts (cryptosporidium, Giardia). Rated to treat 12,000 gallons. Includes chlorine test tablets to verify when it's time to replace cartridge.
